Should I rent or buy?

Pros for Renting: Rental fees are lower, and you can return when you’re done wearing.  

Pros for Buying: The suit is tailored to fit your body, and you can wear the suit again!  

Essential Tips for Success

1. The most important tip for a successful tuxedo/suit rental or purchase is to ensure a proper fitting, and it’s essential that you are measured by someone who is properly trained. Our stylists are professionally trained to assist with these measurements. You may need to have your measurements done elsewhere -- a tailor or menswear store is a good alternative, but please note that some retailers may charge a small fee for measurement services. Accurate measurements is essential when ordering.
2. Measurements need to be provided to Bel Soie at a minimum of 6-to-8 weeks prior to the formal event.
3. If renting: Your rented tuxedo/suit will be available for pick up the week of the formal event. Schedule a pick-up date as early as you can that week for a final fitting, and we’ll make any necessary adjustments, so you will look fabulous for the event!  Rentals need to be returned the next day following the event. 
4. If buying: Your suit will come in a few weeks after we place your order.  It’s best to schedule a fitting when you plan to pick up your suit just in case alterations need to be made. The more lead time you have for alterations, the better.
